    Got some decisions to make at WR this week, Tim. I need 3 of the following 6 for a 10-Team, Full PPR, Standard Scoring League…

    Andre Johnson vs TEN – My only lock to start. Looked redonkulous towards the end of that game in Week 14.

    Calvin Johnson vs TB – Usually another lock to start, but I’m starting to think Drew Stanton is hurting his value. He had one catch last week and Stanton looked like a mess. TB lost it’s best CB though, so the matchup is solid.

    Brandon Lloyd vs OAK – Again, usually a lock to start. The Denver offense has been anemic the last two weeks and it seems like Denver has just given up. Orton is posting horrible numbers and it’s trickling into Lloyd’s production. Plus, he’ll probably be on Nnamdi Island.

    Malcom Floyd vs SF – He was a star for me early before the injury. Finally had a breakout game back last week, albeit for modest yardage. But he did get two scores. VJax should be more a part of this game this week, so do Floyd’s numbers go down?

    Kenny Britt vs HOU – Juiciest matchup this week. Had his injury comeback game last week and although he only scored 3 fantasy points, he looked good after the catch. He may be in for a big week with Moss playing decoy.

    Sidney Rice vs CHI – Bad matchup on paper, and bad QB under center. Probably not going to start this Rice, although he is targeted often and can go off due to his big play skills. TJax can’t throw the ball farther than 10 yards downfield though.

    Jeff,

    That’s a great breakdown of your wide receivers. I always enjoy getting your questions, because they’re always entertaining (you’re the only person who has thrown out a redonkulous) and informative (I like reading your analysis).

    In Calvin I Trust! I understand why you have some hesitation on Calvin Johnson, but I think he’s a “must start” type of player. You never know when he is going to explode. Drew Stanton definitely hurts his cause, but the Tampa Bay defense could mean good things for the combo. The Buccaneers rank 11th in passing defense at 206.2 yards per game, but they’ve also allowed 21 passing touchdowns (tied for the 9th highest mark in the NFL).

    I think it’s time to stray away from Brandon Lloyd (for this week at least). I would play Malcom Floyd in his place. Vincent Jackson will take away some of his targets, but he’ll also help open him up against a lackluster San Francisco defense (227.3 passing yards per game). Floyd also appears to be the hot red zone option for Philip Rivers.

    Finally, you’re a fool if you don’t play Andre Johnson.

    Ha, good to hear you enjoy my ramblings, man. You can thank my OCD for that; I’m the classic over-manager, as I tend to leave tons of points on the bench on a weekly basis by overthinking.

    So, Floyd is out tonight and VJax is reaping the benefits already. I’m gonna end up starting AJ, Megatron, and then I’m going with Britt over Lloyd and Rice. I like Britt’s matchup and I think he does well here against HOU.

    One last question, at TE, what do you think of Zach Miller (OAK) vs DEN? He seemed to get over his foot injury last week and post a solid game. Think he’s back? Enough to start over Chris Cooley (vs DAL)?

    Jeff,

    I think you’re making the right decisions at wide receiver. I don’t blame you for putting Brandon Lloyd on your bench. There’s a chance Kenny Britt goes off against the Texans. It’s actually freaking me out. I tried picking him up in my league, but I lost out to him on waivers to the team I’m playing in the semifinals. I’m afraid he’s going to be the reason I lose this week. It’s killing me!

    Zach Miller bounced back last week and he should be solid against Denver again this week. With that said, I think Dallas and Washington will be in a shootout and I think Chris Cooley will be one of the benefactors. I’d personally play it safe with Cooley this week. I’m sorry I didn’t catch that question in the first comment you left.
